Sometimes life can feel so stressful. We are too busy, too overwhelmed, too indecisive, too hard on ourselves and then we feel miserable and depressed. Here are some stress relief tips to get you back on a more even keel:

Coping With Stress

Over-eating and over-dependence on alcohol are ways of coping with stress, but there are other healthier options too.

Relationships

If nothing else, having to make do with imperfect partners reprieves us from having to be perfect, too. Forgive and love one another. Life is too short.

Arguments

In general 80% of a dispute is about the past and only 20% about the moment. So take the power out of your feelings and look at what drives them. (Andrew G Marshall, marital therapist, writing in the London Times 6th Dec 2008)

Difficulties

It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare; it is because we do not dare that they are difficult. (Seneca)

Resolutions

A study has shown that it takes about 70 days for a new resolution to become a habit. So don’t give up; it does get easier. And wait till you have one resolution fixed as a habit before you tackle something else.

Optimism

Optimism seems actually to change the nervous system and boost the immune response, just as being gloomy depresses it. Dr Shelley Taylor, psychologist, University of California. Psychiatrists have found that people with a negative outlook on life may be up to 25% more likely to develop cancer than those who are optimistic.

Feeling Depressed?

Feeling low and depressed can be a sign of unresolved anger. If this is the case, you may need to get some help to resolve these feelings.

De-clutter Your Mind

De-clutter your mind by visualizing a filing cabinet and putting all the things that are bothering you in order.

Make A Change - Even A Small One

If you do what you’ve always done, you will get what you have always gotten. (Anthony Robbins)

Stress And Potassium

Bananas are rich in potassium and you need extra potassium when you are stressed, so go eat a banana or two.

Stressed?

Dab a drop of lavender essential oil on your wrists and temples to help calm yourself down.

Winning And Losing

“I’ve never met a winner who hasn’t learnt how to be a loser.” Jack Nicklaus, golfer

Very usewful info. Thank you! I have checked out a couple of your other posts and found some important information too - and I wanted to say thanks there is so much crap out there. It is good to experience some people still put interest into managing their internet sites. Again thanks for all the detail.

Being a working mom in my late 30-ties, living in the Northwestern part of Montana, and running is my hobby. Hence, I have to suffer from lower back pain a lot. After I did run my last marathon I had to make a break. It was aching terribly. Now I am recovering from back pain. I followed the advice I found here: Get Back Pain Relief Now (Grab Your Free Pain Relief Guide!)

Jesse Canonne, the founder of The Healthy Back Institute, recently publicized his brand new book titled “The 7 Day Back Pain Cure” and for the moment you can get it for FREE. Get a Cost-free copy. And hurry - that offer will probably be taken from the market at any time!

Many thanks again and keep up your authentic work and much success!

You article definitely was one of the best points of my Saturday. I was on Google searching for something totally unrelated when the title caught my attention. I’m glad I took the time to read your blog! Feel free to check out my blog at The Tweet Tank Review!

Thanks for publishing about this. There’s a bunch of solid tech info on the internet. You’ve got a lot of that info here on your website. I’m impressed - I try to keep a couple blogs fairly up-to-date, but it’s a struggle sometimes. You’ve done a solid job with this one. How do you do it?

A relevant, intelligent post about an issue that so much common sense is missing. Thanks for sharing this creative and clever commentary with the world. We physically need lot of logic like you’ve got shown here. I appreciate it very much.
